little baby gray

i am looking for a good home for this little girl stray.

i’d keep her myself but i don’t want to be the crazy cat lady.

so let me know if you want a gorgeous little kitten with golden eyes.

peter is a cat that we’ve had for probably about seven years.

i found him meowing in front of a store at a walmart plaza-no houses nearby.

a freeway on one side, a graveyard on the other, and two major streets bound the plaza.

we put up signs, but never found his owners.

i even tried dropping him off at three different shelters around the valley,

but they were all full.

so i suppose it was meant to be.

anyway, all that to say, peter loves water. he loves it from the bowl, the faucet, and more recently,

the sprinkler.

my cat oliver (who i tamed from the wild) has a feral girlfriend.

her name is olivia.

they play, sleep, and eat together.

i hope to catch her & get her fixed before she has kittens with another stray.

so i am waiting for several people to answer their interview questions.

in the meantime, i am forced to post pictures of my cat. sigh.

last year, i went with susan to an antique store and bought a gorgeous hand knitted blanket.

or was it a table cloth?

either way, i knew i wouldn’t be using it as either because i didn’t want to wash it frequently.

but i loved loved loved it.

i finally hung it over the metal canopy of our bed so it acted as a headboard.
